The most important prerequisite for uncrossed yarns is precise yarn guidance with minimum free yarn lengths from the expansion comb to the warper beam. It must be possible to adjust the width of the yarn sheet exactly to the beam width in order to avoid faults in the disc area. The short segments provide suitable conditions for short free distances between comb and deflection roller and thus for uncrossed yarn placement. The horizontal comb movement ensures uniform yarn laydown on the beam. The result is a smooth winding surface.

High demands are made on the warping. We manufacture our expansion combs to the highest quality standards.
